Wedding DJ Partnerships Scotland — Work With Premier Disco Weddings

Premier Disco Weddings works with couples planning premium weddings at Scotland’s finest venues. The standard of service we deliver — and the reputation we have built — means we attract more enquiries than one DJ can handle. Rather than simply turning couples away, we work with a very small number of carefully vetted professional wedding DJs who can represent Premier Disco Weddings with the same level of care, skill and professionalism that our clients expect.

If you are an experienced wedding DJ in Scotland with your own professional equipment, a genuine passion for delivering exceptional weddings, and the character to match — we would like to talk to you.

This Is Not for Everyone

We want to be honest about what this partnership involves. Premier Disco Weddings serves couples who are investing significantly in their wedding day. They have chosen extraordinary venues, worked with carefully selected suppliers, and they expect their DJ to match that standard in every respect. The bar is high — and deliberately so.

We are not looking for DJs who want to fill a quiet weekend. We are looking for DJs who care deeply about their craft, take every wedding seriously regardless of the fee, and understand that the couple’s day matters more than anything else on the night.

What We Require

  • Professional-grade equipment — your own high-quality sound system, lighting rig and DJ setup. Equipment must be appropriate for premium Scottish wedding venues
  • Full public liability insurance — minimum £5 million PLI as required by Scotland’s top venues without exception
  • PAT tested and certified equipment — regularly tested and documented
  • Significant wedding experience — you should be able to demonstrate experience at premium Scottish wedding venues and a track record of consistently excellent feedback from couples
  • Musical depth and versatility — the ability to build a personalised wedding set that genuinely reflects the couple, not a generic playlist that could work for anyone
  • Exceptional professionalism — pristine presentation, punctuality, reliable communication and a composed, confident manner in high-pressure environments
  • Experience with ceilidh calling — desirable but not essential. If you can call ceilidh dances confidently as well as DJ, that is a significant advantage

What You Get

  • Premium wedding bookings — couples who value quality and are prepared to pay appropriately for it
  • Fully prepared clients — every couple working with Premier Disco Weddings goes through a detailed music consultation and uses our online planning system, so you arrive at every wedding knowing exactly what is needed
  • Association with an established brand — Premier Disco has been operating since 1979. That heritage and reputation carries real weight with venues and clients
  • Access to our planning and briefing system — so no wedding booking is ever underprepared
  • A genuine working relationship — not a platform or a marketplace. We work with very few partner DJs and invest in those relationships properly

Venues You Would Be Working In

Premier Disco Weddings regularly covers weddings at some of Scotland’s finest venues. Partner DJs working on our behalf need to be completely comfortable in these environments — understanding load-in protocols, sound limiter requirements and the expectations of premium venue staff. Venues include properties across Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Perthshire, Stirling, Ayrshire, the Scottish Borders and beyond.

How to Get in Touch

If you believe you meet the standard we are describing and want to explore a partnership, please get in touch. Tell us about your experience, your equipment, the venues you have worked in, and why you think you would be a good fit for Premier Disco Weddings. Links to reviews, social media or video footage of your work are very welcome.

We review every application personally. If there is a potential fit, we will arrange a proper conversation — because a partnership of this kind is built on knowing and trusting the people involved, not ticking boxes on a form.
